Equip yourself with the skills to embark on a career alongside licensed electricians. Through hands-on projects, you’ll gain a deep understanding of electrical concepts in new construction, as well as the ability to repair and replace outdated systems. By graduating from this class, you’ll be prepared to work as an apprentice and pave your way towards becoming a journeyman.

Complete this class ready to work for a licensed electrician. Hands-on projects help you understand the concepts of electricity in new construction and how to repair and replace old electrical systems.

Electrical Technician

Design, stage, and install commercial, industrial and residential wiring for power control systems from rough to finish. Use logical thinking and math to interpret blueprints and layout design, as well as troubleshoot analog and digital circuits for safe and efficient operations.

Complete this class and be ready to work for a licensed electrician.

Hands-on projects help you understand the concepts of electricity in new construction and how to repair and replace old electrical systems. This class works on community projects, helps with construction trades projects, and remodeling projects around the campus.

When you complete the course, you will be prepared to work as an apprentice.

Graduates who work 4,000 hours as an apprentice will be eligible to sit for the residential journeyman exam and after 8,000 hours will be eligible to take the unlimited journeyman exam.
